About the Role
The Site Facilities Manager reports to the Account Director and leads the daily operations of the program. This role coordinates the activities of the facilities team and integrates efforts with other departments within the client’s facility. Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations, communicating regularly with client stakeholders, and supervising the planning, budgeting, and control of operating expenses. The manager develops annual budgets, forecasts, and performance reports while maintaining strict expense control. Supervision of unionized onsite employees, performance monitoring using objective metrics, and mentoring staff to reach their full technical and professional potential are also essential. The manager conducts regular facility inspections, recommends and directs maintenance, repairs, and improvements, and oversees vendor service contracts. Maintaining strong relationships with clients, tenants, fire departments, and government agencies is required. Additional duties may be assigned as needed. The role encompasses full managerial responsibility for integrated facilities management functions, including hiring, training, assigning work, evaluating performance, rewarding, disciplining, and resolving employee complaints in accordance with organizational policies and applicable laws. • Oversee daily facility operations and integrate activities across client departments. • Ensure compliance with all relevant rules, regulations, and safety standards. • Develop, administer, and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, and expense controls. • Supervise unionized onsite staff and evaluate performance using objective metrics. • Mentor and empower team members to achieve technical and professional growth. • Conduct regular facility inspections and direct maintenance, repairs, and improvements. • Manage vendor contracts and maintain key relationships with clients, tenants, and agencies. • Lead safety and security programs, including inspections, audits, and drills. • Perform hiring, training, performance appraisal, and employee discipline in line with policies.

Compensation for this position ranges from $108,800 to $128,000 and is competitive based on location, experience, and collective bargaining status.
