About the Role
The Manager, Category reports to senior procurement leadership and is responsible for developing and executing category strategies for small to moderate‑sized categories. This role collaborates with business partners and stakeholders to align goals, optimize sources of supply, and maximize business opportunities. Key responsibilities include owning the assigned category, managing stakeholder relationships, conducting negotiations, and maintaining deep market knowledge. The manager leads supplier performance initiatives, drives continuous improvement, standardizes processes, and meets year‑over‑year goals. Coaching and mentoring of department team members is also required.

What You Bring
Candidates must have at least five years of supply‑chain or procurement experience. Preferred qualifications include direct multi‑category contract negotiation experience, professional certifications such as CPM, CPSM or Six Sigma, and two or more years of leadership experience. Advanced Excel skills (VBA, macros), strong analytical abilities, and effective communication are essential.
