About the Role
In this position you will oversee a wide variety of survey services, from title boundaries and topographic designs to laser scanning and construction layout. You will compile cost estimates, conduct quality‑control reviews, and coordinate field and office staff to meet project schedules and budgets while ensuring client approvals for scope changes. • Complete project tasks with minimal direction, including title boundaries, plats, topographic, control surveys, HDS laser scanning, and construction surveys. • Prepare and compile accurate survey cost estimates and scopes of services. • Analyze records to produce complete boundary surveys and justify property line locations. • Perform quality control reviews on reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates. • Compute layouts for subdivisions, roads, lots, buildings, and utilities. • Assist staff in preparing reports, plans, and contract documents. • Organize and coordinate field and office teams on complex design and field tasks. • Develop project work plans and safety plans. • Supervise Survey Technicians and monitor staff, sub‑consultants, and contractors on budgets and schedules. • Ensure scope revisions and out‑of‑scope work are approved by the client before execution.

Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking an Assistant Project Manager with private‑market and DOT project experience in Miami, FL. You will join a Survey/Geospatial team that delivers a full range of data and mapping services, collecting information from air, ground, and subsurface to provide precise interpretations and accelerate industry leadership. The ideal candidate holds at least eight years of surveying experience, with a SIT or CST license preferred, and possesses an advanced skill set in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, and Bentley MicroStation. A high school diploma or associate degree is required, with a bachelor’s degree in surveying considered a plus, along with a valid motor‑vehicle operator’s license and strong technical, mathematical, and English communication abilities. • Minimum 8 years of surveying experience; SIT and CST licenses preferred. • High School Diploma or associate degree required; Bachelor’s in surveying a plus; AutoCAD certification preferred. • Valid motor vehicle operator’s license. • Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, and Bentley MicroStation. • Strong technical, mathematical, and English communication skills.
