About the Role

The advisor will centralize SH&E matters, design and oversee strategy, conduct risk assessments and audits, lead incident investigations, and coordinate emergency response planning. Collaboration with cross‑functional teams, mentorship of junior staff, and ongoing engagement with regulatory bodies are also central to the role. • Serve as primary SH&E contact, providing expert guidance to management and staff. • Develop, implement and oversee comprehensive SH&E strategies aligned with regulations. • Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits to identify hazards. • Lead investigations of accidents, injuries and near‑misses, applying corrective actions. • Integrate SH&E best practices into operations through cross‑functional collaboration. • Supervise and mentor junior SH&E staff, fostering professional development. • Stay current on UAE and international SH&E regulations and standards. • Design and deliver training programs to boost safety awareness and competency. • Prepare and present detailed SH&E reports and recommendations to senior leadership. • Manage emergency response planning and coordinate crisis management initiatives.

What You Bring

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Advisor – Safety, Health and Environment to join our Dubai office. Reporting on‑site at the UBora Tower, the role will lead the organization’s compliance with SH&E regulations, develop comprehensive safety programs, and embed a culture of safety and environmental responsibility. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science or a related field, and possess a NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent certification when their degree is in engineering. A minimum of ten years of progressive SH&E experience, including supervisory responsibilities, is required. The ideal professional demonstrates deep knowledge of UAE and international SH&E legislation, strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, and excellent communication skills to influence all organizational levels. Proficiency with SH&E management software, familiarity with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001, and a willingness to travel across the UAE for site inspections are essential. • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science or related field. • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent certification (required for engineering graduates). • Minimum 10 years of SH&E experience with supervisory and leadership responsibilities. • In‑depth knowledge of UAE and international SH&E legislative obligations. • Strong analytical, risk assessment and problem‑solving skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to influence all levels. • Proficiency with SH&E management software and reporting tools. • Familiarity with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards. • Willingness to travel within the UAE for site inspections and audits.
