About the Role
The HazMat Field Driver/Technician is responsible for safely transporting hazardous and non‑hazardous waste streams from multiple generator sites, operating straight trucks, box trucks and tractor‑trailers to complete bulk and containerized pickups while complying with all government regulations. Key duties include operating various truck types, performing LTL pickups, maintaining driver documentation such as logbooks and manifests, ensuring proper placarding, load securement and HAZMAT segregation, conducting DOT/MOT inspections, using company mobile technology, communicating effectively with customers, processing waste materials, assisting with lab‑pack and field service projects, and supporting site safety programs.

What You Bring
Preferred qualifications include knowledge of electrical, plumbing, hydraulic, pump and motor systems, as well as proficiency with hand and shop tools and a strong attention to detail. Minimum requirements are a Class B CDL with hazardous‑material and tanker endorsements (or the ability to obtain them within 90 days) and the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities.
