About the Role
The incumbent will drive a zero‑incident EHS culture across the site by leading projects that advance the Zero Incident Safety Culture program. They will implement the Management System of Environmental, Safety, Security and Health (MESH) and use its tools to achieve measurable improvements. Supporting the function includes EHS data analysis, management, reporting, and tracking of leading and lagging performance indicators, as well as fostering engagement through EHS teams and committees. The role also coordinates a comprehensive suite of occupational safety and health trainings, such as PPE, forklift, first aid, machine safety, and hazard communication, and assists with ZWaD certification and water‑reduction initiatives. Participation in emergency‑response planning, drills, and first‑aid provision is required, along with maintaining accurate records of inspections, incidents, and training activities. Additional duties include managing hazardous‑material storage, handling, and disposal, and continuously identifying opportunities to improve EHS processes. • Champion zero‑incident safety culture initiatives • Implement and leverage MESH tools for continuous improvement • Conduct EHS data analysis, reporting, and performance‑indicator tracking • Lead 8D investigations for all recordable accidents • Mentor engineering staff on measuring apparatus for pollutant monitoring • Evaluate jobs for ergonomic enhancements and implement redesigns • Coordinate comprehensive safety training programs (PPE, forklift, first aid, etc.) • Support ZWaD certification and water‑reduction programs with cross‑functional teams • Participate in emergency‑response planning, drills, and provide first aid • Maintain accurate records of inspections, incidents, and training activities • Manage proper storage, handling, and disposal of hazardous materials • Identify and drive continuous‑improvement opportunities in EHS processes

What You Bring
Candidates must possess at least a high school diploma, be bilingual in Spanish and English, and have a minimum of one year of EHS experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment; an associate’s degree in occupational health and safety or a related field is preferred. The position is limited to individuals within a 50‑mile radius of El Paso, TX, with an exemption for active‑duty military members. Required skills include strong interpersonal, counseling, and organizational abilities, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and the physical capacity to lift 20 lb, stand for long periods, and work in varied environmental conditions. • Require high school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred • Bilingual in Spanish and English • Minimum one year EHS experience in manufacturing/industrial setting • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook • Strong interpersonal, counseling, and influencing skills • Ability to collaborate across departments and manage multiple priorities • Physical ability to lift up to 20 lb, stand for extended periods, work in varied conditions
