About the Role
The role focuses on basic programming and testing activities for Hitachi Rail’s train control software within the Signalling and Rail Solutions division. Under supervision, the intern will contribute to low‑complexity tasks while gaining exposure to more advanced responsibilities over time. • Write automated tests and execute software testing. • Document and report issues discovered during testing. • Adjust user‑interface styling to align with predefined designs. • Resolve clearly scoped, low‑complexity problems within a supervised team. • Apply strong analytical skills to diagnose issues from requirements and design schematics. • Participate in a hybrid work model and mentorship through a buddy program. • Work on real‑world projects with top industry talent. • Attend networking sessions, “Ask Me Anything” events with the executive committee, and various social gatherings.

What You Bring
