About the Role
The Senior Cost Manager (Commission Manager) is responsible for end‑to‑end service delivery, ensuring client objectives are met through effective cost‑management services on commissions typically ranging from £10 million to £50 million. • Lead end‑to‑end commission delivery, ensuring client objectives are met. • Coach and allocate tasks to junior staff, overseeing cost management across projects. • Advise clients on feasibility studies, procurement options and present final cost plans. • Manage estimating, tendering, pre‑qualification, tender analysis and contract documentation using The Hive and eTender Platform. • Administer contracts, control post‑contract cost variances, change control and produce monthly cost reports via Cost Control App. • Conduct peer reviews, valuations and value‑engineering inputs on large projects. • Negotiate and agree final accounts, and interface with clients, project managers and consultants. • Lead and mentor cost‑management teams, utilizing digital tools such as CostX, Benchmarking App and Embodied Carbon Calculator. • Support NewLeaf strategy, internal fee and job‑costing management, and contribute to marketing and business development activities. • Capture knowledge in internal databases, drive process improvements, and manage projects on D365.
