About the Role

The engineer is responsible for maintaining and repairing MTU rail products in line with approved manuals and contract requirements, supporting digitalisation initiatives, and ensuring high standards of safety and quality. • Perform preventative, scheduled and corrective maintenance on MTU rail products per manuals and contracts. • Participate in continuous improvement and suggest enhancements to maintenance procedures. • Conduct planned maintenance tasks following operating instructions. • Attend customer meetings to obtain sign‑off for completed work. • Fault find and repair equipment using technical drawings and guides. • Complete and maintain accurate documentation for all service activities. • Contribute to HSQE management processes and keep onsite facilities clean. • Undertake required training (local, factory, IT systems) to keep skills current. • Record parts usage accurately to support inventory control. • Utilize IT tools such as Go!Care, C4S, eWeb, Go!Manage, Go, Diasys, Outlook. • Receive on‑the‑job training for SAP and MTU Business Portal.

What You Bring
