About the Role

The Community Manager oversees all operations of a housing community under the Regional Manager’s supervision, managing personnel, leasing, maintenance, financial, administration, and risk management. As an on‑site leader, the manager ensures compliance with Asset Living policies, safety and fair‑housing guidelines, and liability concerns while supervising staff and property activities. • Manage on‑site personnel: screen, hire, train, coach, schedule staff, and address performance issues according to company benchmarks. • Oversee financial performance: develop budgets/forecasts, control costs, ensure timely rent collection, and reconcile vendor invoices and ownership financial reports. • Lead strategic leasing: create annual marketing plans, drive leasing activities, handle resident complaints, and implement retention programs such as events and newsletters. • Direct administrative and maintenance operations: ensure accurate reporting, lead emergency response, maintain property appearance, and supervise maintenance, construction, and rehabilitation projects.

What You Bring

• Education and experience requirements: high school diploma (Bachelor’s preferred), 1‑2 years housing industry experience, CAM or ARM certification preferred, and basic computer and Fair Housing/OSHA knowledge. • Physical and on‑call requirements: ability to stand, lift up to 25 lb, work overtime, weekends, nights, and respond to emergencies with reliable transportation.
