What You Bring
Key responsibilities involve advanced knowledge and proficiency in multiple vehicle systems, enabling complex on‑site and on‑the‑road repairs. Technicians perform chassis component repair, maintain refuse bodies, service air and hydraulic brakes, conduct engine and HVAC maintenance, and handle suspension, drivetrain, and steering work. They also perform line‑maintenance welding and fabrication, and use electronic tools to identify malfunctions. Completion of applicable company training programs is required, along with any additional job‑related duties as assigned. Candidates must have at least three years of experience as a heavy‑duty truck technician and be able to conduct inspections and repairs independently on systems such as suspensions, engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical, hydraulics, drivetrain, and diesel emissions. ASE Heavy Truck certifications (T1‑T8) and LNG/CNG experience are preferred but not mandatory. A valid driver’s license is required; a Class B Commercial Driver’s License is a plus. Additional qualifications include strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work without direct supervision on most tasks. • Complete required company training and certification programs. • Possess at least three years of heavy‑duty truck maintenance experience. • Hold ASE Heavy Truck certifications (T1‑T8) preferred. • Maintain a valid driver’s license; Class B CDL a plus.
