About the Role

The manager will champion standardized processes to improve operational efficiency and deliver excellent customer service. Responsibilities include organizing and delegating priorities, ensuring adequate staffing coverage, and collaborating with warehouse supervisors to monitor inventory control, cycle counts, and WMS‑ERP alignment. The role also requires continual learning of parts and equipment, coaching staff on technology tools, upholding EEO policies, resolving customer issues, and promoting safe work practices. • Drive operational efficiency by championing standardized processes and excellent customer service. • Organize, delegate, and communicate priorities to ensure department success. • Schedule and maintain adequate personnel coverage for store operations. • Monitor inventory with warehouse supervisors, ensuring cycle counts, location availability, and WMS‑ERP balance. • Expand knowledge of parts, components, equipment, and services to boost productivity. • Coach staff on electronic tools such as WMS, ERP databases, and scanners. • Uphold company Equal Employment Opportunity policies and business conduct standards. • Resolve customer service issues promptly and professionally. • Model and enforce safe work practices for all personnel. • Provide on‑call support, occasional after‑hours work, and travel to MA and RI branch locations.

What You Bring

Work hours are Monday through Friday with possible variations, on‑call availability, and occasional duties outside normal business hours. The position may require travel to Milton CAT branch locations in Massachusetts and Rhode Island to support operations. Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or a related field, or equivalent education and experience. Relevant experience with supply support systems in automotive or heavy‑duty equipment is preferred, along with solid leadership, strong communication, organizational, and customer‑service skills. Willingness to travel and adapt to additional duties as assigned is essential.
