About the Role

The primary purpose of this engineering role is to perform advanced technical and engineering problem‑solving to support nuclear plant operations, making critical technical decisions while adhering to industry codes and regulations. • Deliver in‑depth technical expertise for engineering analysis, program development, and equipment/system problem resolution. • Manage engineering tasks end‑to‑end, ensuring accuracy, completeness, configuration control, and compliance with design criteria, codes and procedures. • Conduct independent research, reviews, studies, and analyses to support technical projects and programs. • Recommend new equipment, concepts, and techniques to improve performance, reduce costs, simplify construction, or address code/regulation changes. • Participate in emergency response, departmental coverage, call‑outs, and support outage activities across departments.

What You Bring

Preferred qualifications include Engineer in Training certification and experience with large electrical motor predictive and preventive maintenance. • Minimum entry‑level requirement: Bachelor’s degree in chemical, civil/structural, electrical, industrial, mechanical or nuclear engineering. • Mid‑level requirement: Bachelor’s degree plus at least 2 years of nuclear or related engineering experience. • Senior‑level requirement: Bachelor’s degree plus at least 5 years of nuclear or related engineering experience. • Must meet applicable access and medical examination requirements for the position. • Preferred: Engineer in Training (EIT) certification and experience with large electrical motor predictive and preventive maintenance.
