About the Role
The driver safely operates a heavy‑duty truck on swing routes, navigating residential, commercial, and construction environments while maintaining a clean and safe vehicle in accordance with OSHA, DOT, and company policies. • Operate a heavy‑duty commercial vehicle on swing routes, complying with OSHA, DOT, and company standards. • Perform pre‑ and post‑trip inspections and complete Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIR). • Report unsafe conditions, incidents, accidents, or property damage to the Route Manager or Dispatch immediately. • Participate in required training, briefings, and meetings and cooperate with Route Managers to improve route efficiency. • Assist other drivers and carry out duties as assigned by the Route Manager or Dispatch. • Dump containers, clean customer sites, and position containers correctly to avoid blocking driveways or traffic. • Complete and submit customer tickets for excess yardage and ensure all end‑of‑route documentation is finished.

Required qualifications are two years of CDL vehicle operation or recent military driving experience, being at least 18 years old, legal work eligibility, and a valid Class B CDL; a high school diploma or GED is preferred. • Required: Minimum 2 years experience operating a CDL‑required vehicle or equivalent recent military driving experience, age 18+, legal work eligibility, and a valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License. • Preferred: High school diploma or GED.

Benefits
The position is for a CDL Truck Driver in Erie, PA, offering a pay rate of $22.00 per hour, a $2,500 sign‑on bonus, and an annual boot allowance stipend of $225. The regular shift runs Monday through Friday from 3:30 AM to 3:30 PM with occasional Saturdays.
