About the Role

The Programme Lead role is a permanent position responsible for managing senior direct reports and providing effective leadership to ensure excellence in delivery. The role champions a continuous‑improvement culture across all activities and aligns programme execution with the overall vision and objectives. • Manage coordination and delivery of a major programme, implementing strategies and monitoring alignment with vision. • Define and implement the programme delivery environment, including people, organisation, process, information and technology. • Assemble the right project team with necessary skills, experience, capabilities and external specialist appointments. • Optimize resources and evaluate activities, systems and methodologies to improve performance from the bid baseline. • Act as the public face of the programme, chairing executive steering group meetings with external stakeholders. • Direct and maintain safety, quality, cost, sustainability, governance, risk, stakeholder management and compliance standards. • Oversee development and maintenance of programme documentation, such as processes, plans, reports, registers and lessons learned. • Create and nurture a high‑performing, inclusive team environment that encourages contribution and recognition. • Convey the wider business strategy to the programme team and promote associated initiatives. • Ensure commercial and ethical viability, supporting business objectives and meeting organisational and legislative obligations. • Prioritise safety and wellbeing, ensuring a safe, diverse and inclusive working environment. • Focus on client delivery and building long‑term relationships. • Create opportunities for continuous improvement and inspire teams to develop.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a degree in construction or engineering with professional membership, possess extensive experience integrating airport systems across design, procurement and construction stages, and have a proven track record of delivering major infrastructure programmes.
