About the Role
The role requires the employee to learn and understand all safety hazards associated with the work and to operate tools and equipment safely and effectively. Work will be performed in a plant operations environment or on a construction jobsite. Key duties include reading and interpreting blueprints, ISO field installations, material takeoffs, and field sketches to understand specifications. The employee will fabricate and install a variety of pipe systems—including screw, socket weld, carbon steel, PVC, HDPE, and stainless steel—while mitering, beveling, and laying out pipe penetrations. Additional responsibilities involve installing underground pipe of all sizes, installing valves, pipe hangers, and supports, and assisting other craft workers as needed, using a prescribed set of hand and power tools. • Read and interpret blueprints, ISO field installations, material takeoffs, field sketches, and understand specifications • Fabricate and install screw pipe, socket weld pipe, carbon steel weld pipe, PVC, HDPE and stainless steel weld pipe • Miter and fabricate all pipe • Use beveling machine to prepare pipes/tubes for welding • Lay out for pipe penetrations • Install all sizes of underground pipe • Install valves, pipe hangers, and pipe supports • Assist other craft workers as needed

What You Bring
Physical requirements consist of the ability to push, pull, lift or carry up to 50 lb routinely and occasionally up to 100 lb, frequent use of hands and arms, and coordination for tasks such as climbing, balancing on scaffolds, and working on uneven or muddy surfaces. The position may involve prolonged bending, twisting, crawling, kneeling, overhead reaching, squatting, and standing, as well as exposure to adverse weather and confined spaces. Mentally, the employee must communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers, comprehend and produce written instructions, and perform basic math calculations. The role demands focus amid distractions, sound decision‑making, and a detail‑oriented approach to observing and remembering work details. • Must have the following tools: 25’ tape measure, two 24” framing squares, torpedo level, 24” level, 3 lb maul, channel locks, combo wrenches (various sizes), pipe wrenches, crescent wrench, plumb bob/string, center finder, small wedges, wrap‑around, rain suit, steel‑toe boots and steel‑toe rubber boots
