What You Bring

The Controls Engineer role at Carrier's ALC division is responsible for designing advanced building automation systems tailored to individual customers. The position requires strong teamwork, problem‑solving, time management, and multitasking skills, and offers the chance to work on larger and more complex projects. • Associate degree with 2+ years HVAC experience, or high school diploma with 4+ years HVAC experience. • Ability to climb ladders or use lift equipment over 8 feet and lift items up to 50 lb. • Associate’s degree or higher in engineering or construction discipline (preferred). • Experience with HVAC controls, building automation, and Automated Logic suites. • Knowledge of building automation software, hardware, peripherals, and third‑party protocols (BACnet, Modbus, SNMP, LON, N2, etc.). • Proficiency with Enterprise IP networks and Microsoft Visio or similar tools. • Ability to read sequences of operation and system diagrams.
