What You Bring
The company is hiring an experienced Lead Equipment Operator for its Plumbing/Sewer Department. The role requires strong customer‑service skills, problem‑solving ability, a positive team attitude, and self‑motivation. Operators will safely and efficiently run equipment such as a mini excavator, skid loader, rubber backhoe, and a Georgia Buggy (motor‑powered concrete mover). Candidates must have at least three years of recent experience operating the listed equipment, a CDL with dump‑truck driving and towing experience, and the ability to lift a minimum of 75 lb. Knowledge of plumbing codes, OSHA guidelines, permit acquisition, utility locates, basic construction, sewer‑camera operation, and concrete square‑yardage calculation is required. Strong time‑management skills are essential. Physical demands include lifting and carrying up to 75 lb, working in confined spaces, prolonged standing, kneeling, bending, and operating at heights on ladders or platforms. Manual dexterity for handling electrical tools and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions are also necessary. Applicants must hold a valid driver’s license and successfully complete the company’s screening process, which includes assessments, interviews, background checks, and drug screens. A.B.
