About the Role
The role requires overseeing the coordination and delivery of the major airport programme, defining the delivery environment, assembling the right team, and ensuring performance optimisation. It also involves acting as the public face of the programme, maintaining safety, quality, cost, sustainability and governance standards, and managing comprehensive programme documentation. • Lead coordination and delivery of a major airport expansion programme. • Define and implement the programme delivery environment, including people, processes and technology. • Assemble and manage a multi‑skill project team, securing external specialist expertise as needed. • Optimise resources and improve performance against the bid baseline. • Serve as the programme’s public face, chair executive steering group meetings and engage external stakeholders. • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, cost, sustainability, governance, risk and stakeholder management standards. • Oversee development and maintenance of programme documentation, registers and lessons learned. • Align programme activities with the wider business strategy and commercial objectives.
