About the Role
The Senior Mechatronics & Robotics Technician leads service technicians in installing and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment, designs solutions for complex problems, manages projects, and mentors both service and contract technicians. • Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures. • Maintain and troubleshoot conveyor systems, relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, photo‑eyes, motor starters, limit switches, proximity sensors and solenoids. • Create, assign and close work orders, recording labor hours, equipment maintenance and parts used. • Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures. • Mentor junior technicians to develop their skills. • Maintain positive working relationships across the Operations facility.

What You Bring
• Hold a high school diploma or equivalent. • Possess 4+ years experience with material handling equipment, preventative maintenance, and reading blueprints/schematics. • Have 3+ years experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). • Have 2+ years experience programming Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC). • Demonstrated team‑lead experience, including training and mentoring less experienced technicians. • Experience with vendor management. • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project for document creation and management. • Ability to work flexible schedules and shifts. • Preferred: Associate’s degree or higher in mechanical or electrical field. • Preferred: Experience operating and maintaining robots. • Physical ability to reach overhead, kneel, squat, climb ladders, use aerial lift and lift up to 50 lb. • Ability to wear required PPE such as hard hat, face mask, face shield and composite‑toe shoes. • Must be able to crouch, bend and move between departments, covering 6‑12 miles daily in a warehouse environment with fluctuating temperatures.
