About the Role
The Project Manager will plan and lead projects from initiation through completion, coordinating teams, managing contractors, controlling budgets, and maintaining full compliance with contractual, safety, and business system requirements. • Plan and deliver projects through scope, design, tendering, construction, commissioning, handover, and defects liability. • Define goals, scope, timelines, and budgets to meet revenue and profit targets. • Advocate for customers and maintain positive client and stakeholder relationships. • Lead and coordinate project teams, subcontractors, and consultants with effective communication. • Monitor progress, manage risks, resolve issues, and implement changes. • Manage finances including cost control, forecasting, invoicing, and profitability. • Ensure compliance with WHSEQ policies, statutory requirements, and BGIS systems. • Prepare and manage project documentation and records. • Report progress and performance to stakeholders and executive management. • Participate in tender processes from design to contract finalisation. • Identify opportunities for process improvement and new project initiatives.

What You Bring
Project Manager – Melbourne, VIC – BGIS (Full‑time). BGIS is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee end‑to‑end delivery of designated projects. This role is critical to ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while providing exceptional service to clients. The successful candidate must hold a Certificate IV in OHS (or equivalent experience) and a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Project Management or a related discipline, along with a current General Induction for the Construction Industry card. Proven experience delivering construction, refurbishment or fit‑out projects, strong stakeholder management, problem‑solving abilities, financial acumen, and proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel and Word are required. • Certificate IV in OHS or equivalent experience; Diploma or Bachelor’s in Project Management or related field. • Current General Induction for the Construction Industry card. • Proven experience delivering construction, refurbishment or fit‑out projects. • Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills. • Problem‑solving mindset and ability to adapt in a fast‑paced environment. • Financial acumen with budgeting, forecasting, and contract management experience. • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, and Word. • Experience managing workplace health and safety compliance on construction sites. • Recognised as an AFR Best Places to Work 2024 & 2025. • Award‑winning DE&I culture (Work180 Accredited).
