About the Role
The New Home Consultant role guides homebuyers through the entire purchasing journey, from the first contact to closing, using proactive sales techniques and deep market knowledge to ensure a seamless experience. • Engage visitors, establish relationships, and assess home‑buying needs using Lennar’s selling philosophy. • Generate, process, and close home sales through self‑generated or referred leads, applying the 10‑5‑2‑1 selling approach. • Provide consistent follow‑through with customers from initial contact through closing and post‑closing, maintaining accurate communication records. • Maintain the Welcome Home Center, model homes, and inventory homes; report maintenance needs and ensure timely resolution. • Travel locally to generate leads from Realtors, referrals, and self‑prospecting. • Develop and maintain in‑depth knowledge of market competition, product offerings, community details, sales trends, advertising strategies, and customer demographics. • Monitor and record daily customer traffic using company tracking tools. • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth transactions and exceptional customer satisfaction. • Participate in sales meetings, neighborhood promotions, and marketing initiatives to drive sales growth.

What You Bring
• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree and real estate license preferred. • 1–3 years experience in new home sales, real estate, or related field. • Proven ability to build relationships and close sales. • Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and sales tracking tools. • Self‑motivated, results‑driven, and able to work independently. • Regular in‑person attendance at job sites and offices during normal work hours. • Ability to work more than eight hours per day in confined construction‑trailer spaces. • Capability to operate a motor vehicle, read plans, climb stairs/ladders, bend, stoop, reach, and lift or carry equipment over 50 lb. • Occasional operation of construction equipment; finger dexterity for keyboard and calculator use.
