About the Role

The program manager is accountable for delivering NPD and product support initiatives, ensuring they meet technical, schedule, cost, and quality objectives while overseeing overall financial performance. This includes managing budgets and ensuring profitability across the project portfolio. They serve as the primary liaison with customers, managing expectations and contractual obligations, and provide leadership across functional teams within a matrix organization. Their role ensures alignment between business units and external stakeholders throughout the program lifecycle. The role coordinates project reviews, metrics, and reporting to maintain visibility into program health, and integrates risk and change management processes to achieve program goals. Continuous monitoring and communication keep senior leadership informed of progress and issues. Key contributions include supporting new business development, driving issue resolution, and mentoring team members. The manager fosters a collaborative environment that promotes rapid decision‑making and performance improvement. • Manage budgets and profit‑and‑loss for all NPD and product support projects • Lead Integrated Product Teams (IPT) across multiple sites and customers • Apply lessons learned from post‑Gate 5/6 programs to address field and supply‑chain issues • Supervise functional participants in a matrix environment • Oversee customer contracts, pricing strategies, and contractual flow‑down • Track earned‑value (CPI/SPI), quality, and technical performance metrics • Integrate and control program risks and requirements • Execute change‑management processes and provide regular green/yellow/red status reports • Contribute to new business proposals and program planning • Facilitate rapid issue resolution through team collaboration • Coach team members and deliver performance feedback

What You Bring

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree, at least two years of program or project management experience, and eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship; engineering background and aerospace NPD exposure are preferred. Additional credentials such as PMP certification and risk‑management expertise are advantageous. Candidates must reside within 50 miles of Los Angeles, with exemptions for active‑duty military, and the company adheres to equal‑opportunity and fair‑chance policies.
