About the Role

The Driver/Operator safely operates a heavy‑duty truck on transfer routes, delivering waste containers and ensuring sites are left clean. Drivers must maintain vehicle safety and cleanliness, adhere to all regulatory standards, and promptly communicate any issues or incidents to management. • Operate heavy‑duty truck in compliance with OSHA, DOT, and all applicable regulations. • Conduct pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections using the Driver Vehicle Inspection Report (DVIR) and report issues. • Immediately report unsafe situations, incidents, accidents, or property damage to Operations Manager or Dispatch. • Participate in all required training, briefings, and meetings. • Collaborate with Operations Managers to improve route efficiency and address problem accounts. • Dump containers, clean customer locations, and position containers safely to avoid blocking driveways. • Complete and submit customer tickets for excess yardage removal. • Follow assigned route, checking in and completing documentation at end of shift.
