About the Role

The Senior Consultant, Learning provides strategic direction, planning, leadership, coaching and overall management of large‑scale, complex learning initiatives for an assigned organization within WM. The role partners with senior‑level clients to identify and prioritize training needs, designs learning solutions aligned with business goals, coordinates implementation—including delivery and change‑management—and measures effectiveness for senior management reporting. Key duties include becoming familiar with the client’s business, performing needs assessments, designing curricula and materials such as storyboards, guides, decks, videos, self‑paced modules and job aids, and managing multiple projects with advanced project‑management tasks (SOW, budgets, schedules, risk and resource plans). The consultant deploys large training initiatives, executes change‑management plans, conducts post‑training analysis to determine ROI, generates reports, builds relationships with internal clients and SMEs, facilitates classroom and virtual sessions, and mentors team members. • Partner with senior leaders to identify and prioritize organizational training needs. • Conduct needs assessments and develop learning solutions aligned with business objectives. • Design curricula, storyboards, guides, videos, self‑paced modules and job aids. • Manage large‑scale training projects, including statements of work, budgets, schedules, risk and resource plans. • Implement change‑management strategies with communication and stakeholder plans. • Measure training effectiveness and ROI, producing reports for senior management. • Facilitate classroom and virtual synchronous learning sessions. • Coach and mentor team members, reviewing deliverables before client presentation.

What You Bring

Required qualifications are a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial/Organizational Psychology or a related field, a high school diploma or GED with four years relevant experience, and at least seven years of overall experience including leading high‑performance teams. Preferred qualifications include experience building systematic change programs, applying AI‑driven instructional design, understanding adult learning styles, assessing training effectiveness, and partnering with business leaders using a strong consulting approach. The role may require air travel; candidates must have or be willing to obtain a REAL ID or a TSA‑approved alternative to access federal property or travel by air. • Required: Bachelor’s degree in HR, I/O Psychology or related field; 7+ years experience leading high‑performance teams. • Preferred: Experience with systematic change programs, AI‑driven instructional design, adult learning theory, and business partnership.

The estimated salary range is $120,000–$125,000 annually, contingent on experience, education, certifications and location.
