About the Role

The engineer will lead project design and development for new or existing products, managing the overall PSB scope and site integration. Responsibilities include designing walk‑in enclosures for generator sets, defining system requirements with clients, and coordinating engineering aspects such as ventilation, airflow, static pressure, sound attenuation, exhaust, fuel, and water piping in line with industry codes. • Design walk‑in enclosures and housings for generator sets, KPP, BESS, and related systems. • Define system requirements with clients and coordinate ventilation, airflow, static pressure, and sound attenuation design. • Engineer exhaust, fuel, and water piping to meet industry codes and standards. • Develop the full PSB scope from concept through onsite delivery. • Manage customer requirements, design scope, and change control. • Verify manufacturing drawings, P&I diagrams, schematics, and data sheets for compliance. • Research engineering standards and prepare calculations and drawings per contracts. • Prepare equipment specifications and select effective design concepts for new or improved products. • Lead bid‑leveling exercises on vendor proposals with purchasing. • Follow Rolls‑Royce quality procedures and promote a compliance culture. • Mentor associate engineers and execute special projects as needed. • Act as liaison between sales, internal engineering, project management, and vendors. • Create and deliver presentations to executive management and site teams. • Review and assess control systems and schematics.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Application, Combustion, or Automotive Engineering and have at least five years of relevant mechanical engineering experience (or nine years without a degree). U.S. work authorization without sponsorship is required, and travel up to 30 % of the time is expected. Preferred qualifications include deep knowledge of reciprocating internal‑combustion engines, strong problem‑solving skills, proficiency with CAD and BIM tools, and the ability to mentor junior engineers.
