About the Role

The Site Manager is accountable for health and safety and environmental processes on the site, ensuring a safe working environment and maintaining required documentation such as risk assessments and method statements. They also act as the Project Manager’s representative during on‑site activities and local coordination meetings. Daily responsibilities include initiating, monitoring, and reviewing work procedures, conducting toolbox talks, daily risk assessments, and safety briefings, as well as providing written updates on work performed, issues, and upcoming plans. The role involves identifying resource gaps, optimizing resource use to meet profitability targets, documenting extra‑work requests, auditing testing and commissioning practices, and coordinating with functional groups to meet customer requirements. Additionally, the Site Manager organizes site‑specific training, manages complaints professionally, and raises unforeseen constraints to the Project Manager for cost recapture. • Initiate, monitor, and review site work procedures; conduct toolbox talks, daily risk assessments and safety briefings. • Ensure a safe working environment and maintain required documentation such as risk assessments and method statements. • Represent the Project Manager on‑site and at local coordination meetings. • Identify resource gaps (quality/quantity) and communicate them to the Project Manager. • Provide daily written updates on work performed, issues, and upcoming plans. • Optimize resource use to meet profitability targets and raise unforeseen constraints for cost recapture. • Detect and document extra‑work requests from parties for the Project Manager. • Act as testing auditor for on‑site testing, certification and commissioning activities. • Coordinate with all functional and service groups to satisfy customer requirements. • Organise and deliver site‑specific training and handle complaints promptly and professionally. • Manage additional duties as assigned to meet local requirements.

What You Bring

Candidates must have a strong electrical background with 3‑5+ years of experience in similar roles, knowledge of health and safety and quality management on construction sites, and experience in power distribution, electrical delivery projects, field service, and commissioning. Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, wiring and cabling documents, as well as MS Office and MS Project, is required; datacenter knowledge is a plus. Excellent communication, organisational and people skills, fluency in English, willingness to work a 6‑week on‑site/1‑week home rotation, and flexibility to learn all aspects of the job are also essential. • Possess a strong electrical background with 3‑5+ years of relevant experience. • Knowledge of health & safety and quality management on construction sites. • Experience in power distribution, electrical delivery projects, field service and commissioning. • Ability to interpret technical drawings, wiring and cabling documents. • Proficient with MS Office and MS Project; datacenter knowledge a plus. • Excellent communication, organisational and people skills; fluent English (additional local languages as needed). • Willing to work a 6‑week on‑site / 1‑week home rotation schedule and adapt to varied tasks.
