About the Role

The Process Technician at Viega’s Mantua, OH facility ensures that manufacturing equipment operates at peak quality and efficiency while fostering continuous‑improvement and team development. The position blends leadership, production oversight, improvement initiatives, tooling care, administrative duties, quality management, and workplace cleanliness into a single role. • Lead and train team members on process and equipment best practices. • Create, update, and maintain training procedures for new hires. • Perform machine changeovers and monitor operations against control plans. • Carry out minor mechanical repairs, adjustments, and equipment assembly. • Respond to equipment alarms and execute safe shutdowns when necessary. • Drive continuous‑improvement projects and conduct root‑cause analyses. • Inspect tooling before/after runs and perform preventative maintenance. • Maintain accurate production, quality, and shift documentation. • Enforce safety, 6S, and company policy standards in the work area. • Participate in operational and safety meetings and handle additional assigned duties.

What You Bring

Benefits

Compensation ranges from $26 to $29 hourly plus a discretionary bonus, and the benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, HSA contributions, 401(k) matching, and generous paid time off. • Offer $26‑$29 hourly pay, discretionary annual bonus, medical/dental/vision coverage, HSA contribution, voluntary life and disability insurance, 401(k) with 7.5% company match, 22 PTO days, 9 holidays, and 2 volunteer days.
