About the Role
This strategic account position is responsible for driving growth within an assigned territory and reports to the Associate Director of the North East/Atlantic Region. The Territory Manager will build credibility across contractor customers and supply‑chain partners, overseeing sales growth, profitability, customer service, issue resolution, new product introductions, and industry involvement. Key responsibilities include achieving yearly revenue targets, actively calling on the local contractor community, and participating in industry associations. The role requires developing account goals and business plans aligned with the company’s channel strategy, managing price strategy, forecasting, and ensuring timely introduction of new products while coordinating training for customers. What You Bring
Successful candidates will demonstrate high energy, professionalism, and preferably experience in fire sprinkler, fire suppression, or plumbing/HVAC. They must be politically savvy, communicate effectively with regional directors and partners, exhibit strong business acumen, negotiation, critical‑thinking, and analytical skills, and collaborate across the region. Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word is essential for presentations and reporting. Applicants must reside within the territory (preferably Michigan or Ohio) and have 2‑4 years of outside sales experience in fire suppression, fire alarm, or fire protection. They should be proficient in MS Office, experienced with Salesforce, and possess excellent written and verbal communication, leadership, organization, and time‑management abilities. A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field and technical aptitude in fire suppression products are preferred. • Travel up to 75% of the time. • Demonstrate high energy and professional representation. • Leverage fire sprinkler, fire suppression, or plumbing/HVAC experience (preferred). • Communicate strongly with regional directors and business partners. • Apply strong business acumen and adapt to customer needs. • Negotiate effectively and solve problems analytically. • Reside within the territory (preferably Michigan/Ohio). • Possess 2‑4 years outside sales experience in fire protection industry. • Proficient in MS Office platforms: Word, Excel, PowerPoint. • Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Present confidently to large audiences. • Show strong leadership, organization, and time‑management abilities. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field (preferred). • Experience managing external distribution (preferred). • Demonstrate strong technical aptitude in fire suppression products (preferred).

Benefits
The compensation package offers a salary range of $80,000‑$110,000, dependent on experience, education, and market data, plus a competitive sales incentive plan based on volume and margin. A comprehensive benefits package is included.
