About the Role
The Senior Facilities Manager provides oversight for multiple facilities, an entire campus, or a portfolio of client sites, with at least one Facilities Manager or Assistant Facilities Manager reporting directly. This role ensures policies, procedures, and programs maintain well‑managed, safe, and high‑quality buildings while addressing tenant concerns and aligning with client objectives. Acting as the primary liaison with the client, the manager coordinates services, financials, vendors, and manpower for both current operations and future building needs, and is accountable for the overall financial and KPI performance of the portfolio. The position also drives innovation, best‑practice development, and ensures compliance with insurance requirements and claim coordination. • Oversee daily facility operations, including custodial, life‑safety, engineering, and maintenance services. • Manage service contracts, conduct RFPs, monitor performance, and ensure accurate invoicing. • Lead maintenance programs for interior and exterior conditions and appearance. • Provide prompt, positive responses to client and tenant service requests. • Implement continuous contract review to meet tenant, owner, and property needs. • Prepare and deliver consolidated budgets, financial reports, contracts, and purchase orders. • Develop annual facility budgets, quarterly forecasts, and business plans. • Assist in creating five‑year capital budgets for maintenance and improvements. • Collect, analyze, and report facility metrics, work‑order productivity, and cost‑saving initiatives. • Hire, train, evaluate, and motivate facility management staff. • Drive customer focus and maintain strong relationships with key client contacts. • Ensure tenant and vendor compliance with insurance requirements and coordinate claims.

What You Bring
Key competencies include communication proficiency, technical expertise, problem‑solving, customer focus, financial management, leadership, relationship and vendor management, team orientation, and the ability to multitask effectively. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Corporate Real Estate, Project Management, or Business Administration. They should have 8‑10 years of facility management experience, including at least three years at the Facility Manager level, with exposure to leasing, construction, engineering, property operations, and human‑resource management; CMMS experience is preferred. • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Corporate Real Estate, Project Management, or Business Administration required. • 8‑10 years facility management experience, including at least 3 years as a Facility Manager. • Experience in leasing, construction, engineering, property operations, and HR/performance management. • Preferred: experience with critical system environments and CMMS/Work Order Management.

The compensation range is $123,250 to $145,000, adjusted for location, collective bargaining status, market rates, and candidate experience, with a guarantee of at least minimum wage.
