About the Role
The Senior Project Manager will be accountable for managing scope, cost, schedule, and operational interfaces throughout the design and construction phases. The focus is on delivering schedule certainty, staying within budget, and meeting rigorous quality standards while fostering a strong health, safety, and environmental culture. The role also ensures the development and execution of design, construction, testing, commissioning, turnover plans, and stakeholder coordination in compliance with LAWA requirements. Key duties include acting as the primary liaison and airport/owner representative, developing the RFP and overseeing procurement of designers and contractors, and guiding the project to on‑time, on‑budget completion. The manager will direct technical, fiscal, and administrative functions, oversee the design review team, manage permitting, and resolve design and constructability issues. Additional responsibilities involve field surveys, maintaining detailed project documentation, monitoring QA/QC compliance, preparing progress and risk reports, and managing the closeout process. • Lead scope, cost, schedule, and operational interface management for Terminal 5 renovation. • Serve as primary liaison and airport/owner representative. • Develop RFPs and oversee procurement of designers and contractors. • Direct design review, permitting, and construction activities, ensuring compliance with LAWA standards. • Resolve technical design issues, manage RFIs, shop drawings, and non‑conformances. • Prepare progress, risk, and quality reports for senior management. • Ensure safety, QA/QC, and adherence to contract requirements. • Maintain project documentation, change orders, and closeout deliverables.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Planning, Aviation, or a related field, with a master’s degree preferred. At least fifteen years of full‑time construction project management experience—preferably on airport projects and on budgets exceeding $100 million—is required. Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PE, LEED, AAAE) and proficiency with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and Project Management Information Systems such as PM Web are strongly desired. • Bachelor’s in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or related field; Master’s preferred. • 15+ years of construction project management experience, preferably on airport projects. • Experience on $100M+ projects and multiple delivery methods (Design‑Bid‑Build, CMAR, Design‑Build). • Relevant certifications such as PMP, PE, LEED, AAAE, etc. • Strong written and oral communication skills. • Proficiency with MS Office, Bluebeam, and PM Web.

The position offers a base salary range of $132,800 to $185,933, reflecting experience, geography, and client exposure.
