About the Role
As a Construction Manager you will oversee all phases of utility construction for a variety of telecom projects, leading a team of professionals to deliver high‑quality work in a safety‑focused environment. You will be responsible for scheduling crews, reviewing progress against timelines, managing budgets, and coordinating with subcontractors and senior management. This role also involves interfacing with customers on escalated issues and ensuring all documentation, such as drawings and contracts, is accurately interpreted and applied. • Provide high level of customer service for escalated issues • Direct multiple crews and oversee job site activities • Review progressed schedules against deadlines • Manage projects to completion on time and within budget • Schedule crews, delegate work, review timelines, and supervise performance and quality • Participate in hiring process and maintain employment paperwork • Promote a safe work environment and hold crews accountable for safety practices • Prepare and interpret drawings, graphs, maps, blueprints, bid documents, contracts, proposals, and specifications • Identify and resolve blueprint issues before and during construction • Identify and supervise subcontractors, inspect work, and manage billing • Take responsibility for all personnel and any vehicle or equipment under control • Participate in meetings with senior operations management, peers, and customers • Assist in estimating, bidding, contract negotiations, and change order preparation • Prioritize safety in daily activities

What You Bring
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field and brings three to five years of experience managing telecom construction projects. Strong problem‑solving abilities, hands‑on field experience, and knowledge of coax and fiber splicing, directional drilling, and map reading are essential. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, and Project, and the ability to learn custom software are also required. • Consistently deliver high‑quality work • Strong problem‑solving skills with a hands‑on approach • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field • 3–5 years managing telecom construction projects • Knowledge of telecom construction including coax splicing, fiber splicing, directional drilling, and map reading • Ability to troubleshoot field problems • Experience managing sites while maintaining client and supplier relationships • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project) and ability to learn custom software
