Job Highlights
About the Role
The technician assembles Main, PT, and Reactor cores and related sub‑assemblies by adhering to customer specifications, blueprints, bills of material, and standardized procedures. They follow engineering drawings to assemble connections, load cores and coils onto the stacking line, and stack the core around the coil legs. • Assemble Main, PT, and Reactor cores per specifications, blueprints, and BOMs. • Load cores and coils onto stacking line and stack cores around coil legs. • Stack units onto pallets, label with order numbers, and secure with steel banding straps. • Build sub‑assemblies using calibrated tools following OPS and quality standards. • Operate brazing equipment, leads, and crossovers. • Test finished units with TTR Tester, troubleshoot issues, and rework defective parts. • Transport racks of assemblies to storage using work saver and powered industrial trucks. • Scan units per shipping schedule to generate oven loading data. • Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment. • Utilize hand and power tools, forklifts, pallet jacks, hydraulic presses, and overhead cranes safely. • Follow personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements and safety procedures. • Adhere to equal employment opportunity, fair‑chance policies, and provide accommodations upon request.

A wide range of manual and power‑operated hand tools and heavy machinery—including forklifts, pallet jacks, hydraulic presses, welding machines, air ratchet tools, and overhead cranes—are safely operated to move materials, components, and finished products within the facility. All work is performed while adhering to proper personal protective equipment (PPE) usage and safety protocols. Physical demands include lifting up to 40 lb and performing tasks such as bending, twisting, grabbing, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and using both hands to lift and lower materials, with or without accommodations.
