About the Role

Project Engineers are accountable for safety, direction, completion, and the financial outcome of construction projects from budgeting through closeout. Safety is a core value, and engineers are expected to model safe work practices while collaborating with all levels of project management and field supervision to set priorities and ensure quality. • Ensure customer satisfaction by identifying and exceeding client needs with support from a Project Executive or Senior Manager. • Estimate, value engineer, and develop project budgets with guidance from a Project Executive. • Facilitate the subcontractor bid process, including processing, distribution, and tracking of all bidding documentation. • Use software programs and templates to manage project documentation. • Negotiate subcontractor and material buyouts and develop subcontracts. • Plan and schedule projects. • Manage ongoing jobs, coordinating subcontractors, resolving conflicts, documenting work, and ensuring quality and safety. • Control project costs by evaluating labor, material, and equipment, and continuously forecast and analyze expenses, exposures, and profits. • Perform project closeout activities. • Provide leadership by building relationships, motivating team members, giving clear direction, and fostering cooperative teamwork. • Interact with clients and prospects to identify and pursue new work opportunities. • Prepare and deliver client presentations and project interviews, negotiating and securing new business under supervision.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a B.S. in Construction Engineering or a related field, have three to five years of construction experience, and demonstrate strong written and verbal communication. The role requires the ability to build and maintain relationships, work independently or within a team, and maintain detail‑oriented focus. • Communicate effectively in written and verbal forms with senior management.
