About the Role

We are seeking a Market Driver Manager who will oversee drivers across a designated market to ensure timely receipt and delivery of equipment while complying with company policies and DOT regulations. This role supports both internal and external customers by coordinating equipment movement between Sunbelt locations and job sites. The manager will enforce safety procedures, handle hiring, training, and coaching of driver teams, and oversee work delegation, safety, and performance. Responsibilities include orchestrating dispatch, managing driver schedules, reviewing logs and inspections, collaborating with store locations, and resolving customer complaints professionally. • Ensure compliance with Sunbelt safety procedures and DOT regulations • Hire, train, mentor, and coach drivers and delivery staff • Oversee team workload, delegation, safety, and performance • Coordinate timely dispatch and accurate delivery of rental equipment across the market • Manage equipment transfers and consumable shipments within the market • Create and monitor driver schedules; collaborate with Dispatch Coordinators on contracts • Review driver logs and daily truck inspections for compliance • Ensure drivers operate safely and courteously per company policies • Collaborate with store locations to meet customer equipment needs • Resolve internal and external customer complaints professionally • Report issues to supervisors promptly and follow up for resolution • Provide feedback to Counter and Service Departments on equipment delivery • Minimize driver yard time by coordinating with Dispatch Coordinators and branches

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 5+ years of dispatch experience • Knowledge of construction/industrial equipment industry • Familiarity with DOT Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations • Strong customer service, communication, organizational, and leadership skills • Working knowledge of the delivery area
