About the Role

Key duties include preparing monthly union benefit calculations for welfare, pension, and other fund contributions, reconciling data from payroll and HR systems such as Workday, and ensuring compliance with union contracts. The analyst also gathers and verifies payroll data, integrates it into calculation templates, supports client billing and reimbursement, and assists with union portal submissions and audit preparation. Maintaining SOPs, updating contract repositories, and collaborating with the SME/Lead and client account teams are essential for smooth operations. • Prepare monthly union benefit calculations (welfare, pension, fund contributions) and ensure compliance with contracts. • Compile and reconcile payroll and HR data from systems such as Workday. • Gather, verify, and maintain payroll data, integrating it into calculation templates for audit readiness. • Support client billing for union obligations, reconcile transactions, and assist with reimbursement submissions. • Assist with union portal submissions, payment coordination, and preparation for audits. • Maintain SOPs/DTPs, update contract repositories, and keep data logs for retention. • Collaborate with SME/Lead, support FRMC and client account teams, and participate in knowledge transfer initiatives. • Meet deadlines in a process‑driven environment.

The Senior Analyst in the Union Center of Excellence (UCOE) supports all union‑related financial processes, focusing on monthly calculations, data compilation, compliance reporting, and documentation. This role requires an accounting background, strong analytical skills, and the ability to deliver accurate union benefit calculations, payroll data integration, billing, and record maintenance. The analyst works closely with the Sr. SME, COE Lead, and client finance teams while proactively supporting audit and compliance activities. Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field and have 3‑5 years of experience in payroll, benefits administration, or union processes. Strong analytical and Excel skills, meticulous attention to detail, and effective communication and teamwork abilities are required. Experience with US payroll and union processes is preferred, and the ability to meet deadlines in a process‑driven environment is essential. The ideal senior analyst is proactive, self‑motivated, and collaborative, with openness to support other teams and adapt to evolving processes. Work is performed within established procedures with moderate supervision, emphasizing knowledge transfer and process harmonization. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. • Possess 3–5 years of experience in payroll, benefits administration, or union processes. • Demonstrate strong analytical and Excel skills for data management and tracking. • Exhibit meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. • Communicate effectively and work well in team environments. • Preferred experience with US payroll and union processes.
