About the Role
The Driver – CDL (B) safely operates a collection truck to provide prompt, courteous waste removal services while ensuring the vehicle meets all safety standards and complies with Company, state, and federal regulations. Daily vehicle condition reports are completed to address any defects promptly. Key duties include conducting pre‑ and post‑operation vehicle inspections, following assigned routes and service sheets, loading and compacting waste, interacting professionally with customers and dispatchers, tagging problematic containers, cleaning spills, and maintaining productivity and safety standards. The driver also participates in the Company’s ReSOP safety program and performs other assigned tasks. • Conduct complete pre‑ and post‑operation vehicle inspections. • Follow route sheets, maps, and dispatcher assignments to service each customer. • Operate manual or automatic controls to lift, load, compact, and unload waste. • Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and coworkers to ensure timely service. • Identify and tag unsatisfactory waste containers according to procedures. • Clean accidental waste spills while adhering to safety standards. • Monitor vehicle condition, clean waste from equipment, and report defects daily. • Complete route productivity sheets, vehicle condition reports, and other required documentation. • Meet department productivity standards and uphold all safety policies. • Participate actively in the Company’s ReSOP safety program.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a Class B (or higher) Commercial Driver’s License with an air‑brake endorsement and demonstrate strong customer service, time‑management, and adherence to safety policies.
