About the Role
• Implement and maintain Safety Management Plans and risk registers. • Conduct incident investigations and support audit programs. • Deliver SHEQ training, inductions and toolbox talks. • Ensure compliance with SHEQ policies, procedures and critical risk protocols. • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to improve SHEQ performance.

What You Bring
The successful candidate will be proactive and collaborative, with strong attention to detail and the ability to engage diverse stakeholders. • Hold a Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety (or equivalent) and a current driver’s licence. • Possess sound knowledge of project‑related equipment and operational requirements.

Benefits
The role offers a competitive salary package of $130,000 incl. super (negotiable for the right candidate) and requires travel to Rockhampton about 2–3 days per week, with flights, accommodation and a tool‑of‑trade vehicle provided. Work is split roughly 50 % in the field and 50 % in the office or home, ensuring no two days are the same.
