About the Role
The position is for Indigenous Guest Services Agents who will support on‑base accommodation services for Defence personnel. Responsibilities include managing bookings, check‑ins and check‑outs, maintaining records, coordinating inspections, and ensuring high‑quality customer service. Agents will lead room allocation, control key inventory, coordinate cleaning and maintenance, keep occupancy and rank‑room reports up to date, and liaise with leadership to match accommodation with rank and availability. They will also conduct room inspections, handle deliveries, manage IT booking programs, and assist visitors and trades. • Manage room bookings and allocations for Defence personnel. • Control key inventory, tracking arrival, departure, and secure storage. • Coordinate cleaning, maintenance, and respond to service requests. • Maintain accurate occupancy statistics, rank‑room reports, logbooks, and inventory checks. • Liaise with leadership to align accommodation with rank and availability. • Conduct quality inspections of rooms. • Receive deliveries, manage IT booking programs, and assist visitors and trades. • Provide exceptional customer service in a culturally safe environment. • Work on 8‑month fixed‑term contracts with flexible shift options.

What You Bring
Candidates should have at least one year of hospitality or accommodation experience, be proficient in Microsoft Office, and possess strong communication and customer‑service skills. Reliable transport to Howard Springs is essential, and applicants must be eligible for a Defence Security Clearance, requiring Australian citizenship and a satisfactory Australian Federal Police check. A safety‑first mindset and adherence to established procedures are required. • Minimum 1 year hospitality/accommodation experience required. • Proficient in Microsoft Office. • Strong communication and customer‑service skills. • Eligible for Defence Security Clearance (Australian citizen, AFP check). • Reliable transport to Howard Springs location.
