About the Role
The role involves designing, configuring, and servicing complex HVAC building control systems and related low‑voltage subsystems, ensuring quality, timeliness, and efficiency while communicating designs to customers, consultants, and internal teams. Responsibilities include creating flow diagrams, sequences, bill of materials, network layouts, and electrical schematics; developing and testing software; managing material procurement; overseeing commissioning and validation; providing field changes, training, and value‑engineering solutions; and guiding junior technicians. • Work in an encouraging, collaborative team environment with a Zero Harm safety focus. • Design, configure, and service HVAC building control and low‑voltage systems. • Produce flow diagrams, sequences of operation, bill of materials, network layouts, and electrical schematics. • Develop and test software programs for building control system functionality. • Manage material ordering, delivery tracking, and commissioning of controllers. • Conduct system validation, troubleshoot issues with subcontractors, and provide as‑built documentation. • Deliver site‑specific training to owners/operators and support value‑engineering initiatives. • Supervise Service Controls Technicians I, Senior I, and Senior II as needed.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in engineering, have at least eight years of experience in construction, service, or HVAC, possess deep knowledge of control theory, building automation, low‑voltage protocols such as LON and BACnet, and demonstrate strong communication and advanced computer drafting skills. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering and minimum eight years of relevant experience. • Demonstrate expertise in control theory, building automation, and protocols like LON and BACnet. • Exhibit advanced computer drafting skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
