Benefits

Starting total pay ranges from $22.50 to $32.00 per hour, which includes base pay plus a weekly production bonus. The production bonus percentage varies based on weekly production goals and is paid out each week. For example, a base rate of $15.53 with a 55% bonus results in a total hourly rate of $24.07. Nucor contributes 10% of its pre‑tax earnings to a profit‑sharing plan each year, distributing the funds to eligible teammates. A large portion is deposited into a profit‑sharing account, with a smaller cash distribution. The current six‑year average contribution is 18.28% of eligible earnings, which include regular pay, overtime, and bonuses.
