About the Role
The Project Administrator ensures smooth project operations by handling documentation, coordinating communications, and assisting with day‑to‑day activities for project managers and superintendents. This office‑based role requires frequent travel to construction sites and pre‑bid meetings to maintain alignment with contract requirements. • Provide administrative support to project managers and field leadership. • Organize and maintain project documentation such as contracts, subcontracts, RFIs, submittals, drawings, and correspondence. • Process submittals, RFIs, change orders, and pay applications. • Track document revisions and approvals. • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and distribute minutes. • Assist with subcontractor onboarding and compliance tracking (insurance, bonding, lien waivers). • Support project scheduling, reporting, and closeout documentation. • Communicate with internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, and owners. • Maintain project files in construction management software. • Assist with audits, inspections, and project closeout activities.

What You Bring
• Hold an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in construction management, business administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience). • Possess 1–3 years of construction administration or project support experience. • Understand construction processes, documentation, and ability to read drawings/specifications. • Demonstrate strong organizational, time‑management, and communication skills. • Proficient with Microsoft Office and construction management software (e.g., BuildOps). • Travel 80–100% of the time, primarily office‑based with occasional site visits and pre‑bid meetings. • Operate in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven preconstruction environment.
