About the Role

As a Quality Lab Technician, you will provide quality support to 24/5+ production operations at the Lenox facility, collecting and inspecting daily samples, reporting results promptly, and working with operations to resolve any deviations from standards. • Inspect incoming raw material, scheduled and unscheduled in‑process items, and finished products. • Document and communicate inspection results; follow up on any issues or questions. • Report non‑conforming in‑process material and assist with containment actions. • Provide investigative lab support for new product development, productivity, and process change initiatives. • Conduct final process and product inspections and audits. • Participate in internal audits of manufacturing processes. • Perform regular maintenance and calibration of inspection methods and test equipment. • Develop and document new inspection and measurement processes. • Operate advanced inspection equipment such as Micro‑Vu, CMM, Alicona, and Keyence. • Write technical reports and use Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Outlook required). • Read and interpret GD&T drawings; perform dimensional and performance analysis on new product development programs.

What You Bring

The role is set in a high‑functioning professional team that balances routine tasks with urgent requests from multiple internal customers, requiring flexibility and the ability to manage competing priorities. • 2‑year technical college degree preferred; relevant factory or quality experience also acceptable. • Understand basic quality terminology, statistical process control (SPC), and testing methods. • Experience with ISO/QS documentation and requirements. • Metallurgical knowledge and use of lab measurement tools (microscopes, calipers, hardness testers, etc.). • Demonstrate problem‑solving, prioritization, conflict resolution, and leadership abilities. • Prior experience at the East Longmeadow facility is a plus.

Benefits

This position works Monday through Friday, eight hours per night, with occasional weekend shifts. The schedule runs from 3:30 pm to 12:00 am and offers a pay range of $23.50‑$24.69 per hour plus a 9 % shift differential.
