About the Role
The Mobile Maintenance Technician supports the Assistant/Chief Engineer and Sr. Facilities Manager in day‑to‑day maintenance, repair, and efficient operation of all building systems for the client. The role ensures HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment operate efficiently and safely, minimizing downtime through proactive maintenance and accurate record‑keeping. Primary duties include performing preventive maintenance and responding to work orders for mechanical, electrical, lighting, and other installed systems. The technician operates, maintains, and repairs HVAC units, boilers, heaters, pumps, refrigerant compressors, water filters, and related components across assigned facilities. Additional responsibilities cover major equipment repairs such as compressor, condenser, evaporator coil, and plumbing replacements, as well as electrical tasks like conduit installation, cable pulling, panel maintenance, and motor predictive analysis. The role also involves servicing building automation systems, elevators, sanitary sewer systems, trash compactors, and kitchen equipment, and performing general handyman work. The technician must adhere to all applicable codes, regulations, and company safety policies, conduct regular inspections, maintain inventory control, and recommend improvements to the preventive maintenance program. Monthly operational reports are prepared for management, and the employee must respond to emergencies, sometimes traveling to underground CEV locations with appropriate safety measures. • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and lighting systems. • Conduct major HVAC repairs such as compressor, condenser, and evaporator coil replacements. • Execute plumbing replacements including domestic water piping, steam traps, and bathroom fixtures. • Perform electrical work: conduit installation, cable pulling, panel maintenance, and motor predictive maintenance. • Operate, maintain, and repair boilers, heaters, pumps, valves, and steam distribution equipment. • Service refrigerant systems: compressors, condensers, evaporators, traps, expansion and stop valves. • Maintain building automation systems, elevators, sanitary sewer systems, trash compactors, and kitchen equipment. • Maintain inventory, order parts, and suggest improvements to preventive maintenance programs. • Prepare and submit monthly building operation reports and ensure code and safety compliance. • Manage assigned company vehicle maintenance, registration, insurance, and expense reporting. • Respond to emergencies, travel to client sites including underground CEV locations, and follow PPE protocols.

What You Bring
A company vehicle is provided; the technician is responsible for its upkeep, registration, insurance, and accurate expense reporting.
