About the Role
The UGE Laborer/Groundman prepares and cleans construction sites, loads and unloads materials, operates equipment, and supports skilled tradespeople. This role works closely with the construction team and other department personnel to ensure jobs are completed efficiently and safely. • Clean and prepare construction sites, removing debris and hazards. • Assist tradesmen to complete skilled tasks efficiently. • Identify utilities and monitor dig crews to prevent utility strikes. • Clean and maintain equipment. • Restock trucks with tools and supplies for crews.

What You Bring
The position is field‑based and requires frequent bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, lifting up to 50 lb, and working in inclement weather such as extreme heat, cold, rain, ice, snow, and wind. Workers must have good hand‑eye coordination, color‑vision discrimination, and be able to judge distances accurately. • Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license. • Preferred: 1 year experience, CDL Class A license.
