About the Role
The primary purpose of this position is to manage the engineering function with accountability for station needs and regulatory requirements. This role ensures engineering activities align with corporate objectives and safety standards. Key duties include managing engineering performance and development to achieve high‑quality results, providing technical leadership for short‑ and long‑term programs that affect site operations, and participating in business planning, budgeting, and performance reviews for assigned staff. The role also serves as a senior resource for NGG‑wide engineering system and process initiatives and performs additional assignments such as emergency response, outage support, and departmental coverage as directed. • Manage the engineering function to meet station needs and regulatory requirements. • Lead performance and development of engineering staff toward high‑quality results. • Provide technical leadership for short‑ and long‑term programs impacting site operations. • Participate in business planning, budgeting, and performance reviews for assigned staff. • Serve as senior resource for NGG‑wide engineering system and process initiatives. • Perform emergency response, outage support, and other duties as assigned. • Meet ANSI/ANS‑3.1‑2014 nuclear plant personnel standards and maintain required access and medical clearances.

What You Bring
Minimum qualifications are a bachelor’s degree in engineering (or related science) or a Professional Engineer license, five years of engineering experience including one year in a nuclear power plant, compliance with ANSI/ANS‑3.1‑2014 standards, and the required access and medical clearances. Preferred qualifications include Professional Engineer registration, an advanced technical degree or MBA, and supervisory or managerial experience. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering (or related science) and at least five years of engineering experience, including one year in a nuclear power plant. • Professional Engineer (PE) license or SRO license preferred; advanced degree (MBA) optional. • Supervisory or managerial experience is desired.
