About the Role

You will collaborate on base building, interior architecture, and interior design projects, handling programming, conceptual, schematic, and design development phases, as well as space planning and budget and schedule management. Responsibilities include coordinating with interior designers, project architects, and managers, selecting and presenting FF&E, producing graphic presentations, and providing technical support throughout all project phases. You will also manage client expectations, team communication, and consultant coordination while championing Gensler’s diversity and inclusion goals. • Collaborate on base building, interior architecture, and interior design projects across all design phases while managing budgets and schedules. • Coordinate with interior designers, project architects, and managers; select and present FF&E, color palettes, lighting, and specifications. • Produce 3D renderings, construction drawings, and graphic presentations; provide technical support and documentation throughout the project lifecycle. • Manage client expectations, team communication, and consultant coordination while promoting diversity and inclusion.

What You Bring

You will collaborate with teammates to develop design solutions and coordinate design through construction documentation and administration phases of core and shell and interior architecture projects. Your ability to translate sketches into 2D/3D models, research artistic or technical issues, and your collaborative work ethic make Gensler an ideal place to nurture your career. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or Interior Architecture and has 3‑10 years of relevant interior architecture or ground‑up building experience. Proficiency with Revit, SketchUp, AutoCAD, 3‑D visualization software (Enscape, VRay, Grasshopper, Rhino) and knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign is required; hand rendering and SPEXX are a plus. Strong conceptual 3‑D thinking, graphic presentation, leadership, communication, and relationship management skills are essential, and licensure, NCIDQ, or LEED accreditation are advantageous. • Require a Bachelor’s in Architecture/Interior Design, 3‑10 years of interior architecture or ground‑up experience, and proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, AutoCAD, and 3‑D visualization tools. • Preferred skills include hand rendering, SPEXX, Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign, licensure, NCIDQ, LEED accreditation, and sustainability project experience.

The base salary range is estimated at $76k‑$86k plus bonuses and benefits, contingent on experience. The position is based in the Baltimore office and is not remote.
