About the Role
The Service Technician assists in repairing and overhauling refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment, ensuring timely and accurate service that exceeds customer expectations. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, record‑keeping, and supporting minor construction or start‑up projects while adhering to safety standards. • Assist in repair and overhaul of HVAC, refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment. • Diagnose and resolve mechanical or electrical malfunctions in compressors, water pumps, air handlers, and control devices. • Perform preventative maintenance and test systems using electrical and mechanical skills. • Conduct general repairs on air conditioning units, evaporative condensers, ice machines, gas furnaces, and electric motors. • Maintain accurate corporate and personal work history records. • Process job tickets and work orders promptly for departmental support. • Pick up, deliver, and install display cases and related equipment. • Execute minor construction, remodeling, and startup tasks for new installations. • Operate company vehicle safely and adhere to transportation policies. • Participate in 401(k) matching and tuition reimbursement programs.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a high school diploma or GED, an EPA certification, and have at least three years of commercial refrigeration experience. Experience with convenience‑store or supermarket equipment, familiarity with single and rack systems, a clean driving record, on‑call availability, and the ability to lift 60 lb are essential. • Hold a high school diploma/GED and EPA certification. • Possess a minimum of three years’ commercial refrigeration experience. • Experience with convenience‑store or supermarket refrigeration systems is a strong plus. • Familiarity with single‑system and rack‑system display cases and walk‑in boxes. • Maintain a good driving record, be able to work independently, and be available for emergency on‑call.
