About the Role

The Associate Manager, Designer II will shepherd design projects from concept through construction, delivering high‑quality visual and technical solutions that align with Core’s vision. Working closely with the Creative Director and cross‑functional teams, the role prepares detailed documentation, mentors junior staff, and ensures consistent, creative deliverables. • Lead design process from concept through construction administration • Develop and present design concepts, schematics, and visualizations • Produce floor plans, elevations, finish plans, and FF&E specifications • Create 2D/3D renderings using SketchUp, Enscape, and related tools • Review and mentor junior designers, assistants, and interns • Coordinate with architects, Creative Director, and internal teams • Conduct site visits and ensure design compliance during construction • Manage project timelines and deliverables with Design Manager • Maintain Bluebeam sessions and handle revisions/redlines • Apply sustainable design practices and pursue LEED/WELL/Net Zero certifications

What You Bring

Ideal candidates hold a degree in Interior Design and bring at least four years of interior design experience, preferably in hospitality or multifamily environments. They are proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Bluebeam, and InDesign, have strong sourcing and FF&E expertise, excel in communication and visualization, and are committed to sustainable design practices such as LEED or WELL. • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from an accredited university • 4+ years interior design experience, preferably hospitality or multifamily • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Bluebeam, InDesign; familiarity with Enscape and Illustrator • Strong sourcing experience for materials, finishes, and FF&E • Excellent communication, graphics, and visualization skills • Experience across all design phases and construction documentation • Commitment to sustainable design and relevant certification experience
