About the Role
The role involves establishing long‑term supplier partnerships that drive improvements in cost, quality, delivery, sustainability and technology, leading contract management activities from drafting to negotiation, and mitigating commercial risks to preserve supply chain resilience. It also requires collaboration with cross‑functional stakeholders to develop and maintain category strategies, manage supplier performance, lead cost‑reduction initiatives, and resolve commercial issues. • Build long‑term supplier relationships to improve cost, quality, delivery, sustainability and technology outcomes. • Lead contract drafting, negotiation, and finalization to ensure compliance and optimize terms. • Identify, assess and mitigate commercial risks, maintaining supply chain continuity and resilience. • Develop and maintain category strategies in partnership with stakeholders, staying current on market trends. • Manage supplier performance, drive cost‑reduction initiatives and resolve commercial issues.

What You Bring
Candidates must embody Rolls‑Royce’s principles of safety, integrity, simplicity and impact. Required qualifications include an associate degree with four or more years of operational, procurement or logistical experience, a bachelor’s degree with two or more years, a master’s, JD/PhD, or six-plus years of relevant experience, and U.S. citizenship. Prior experience in supplier and contract management is preferred. • Minimum qualification: associate degree + 4 years or bachelor’s degree + 2 years of operational/procurement experience (or equivalent senior experience) and U.S. citizenship. • Preferred experience: proven supplier and contract management background.
